Respiratory therapists have helped thousands of people of all ages who suffer from conditions such as asthma, COPD and many other diseases of the lungs.
Pottstown Memorial Medical Center’s Respiratory Care Department features a staff of trained Respiratory Therapists, offering a range of services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including:

- Asthma education
- Overnight oxygen studies
- Arterial blood gas testing
The respiratory care department is also actively involved with student education (clinical site) and school programs, including the dangers of smoking and exercise induced asthma education.
