Multi-Disciplinary Approach to Cancer Treatment

- Board-certified physicians in medical oncology, hematology oncology, radiation oncology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, urology and surgery
- Patient-centered care offered by a multidisciplinary team of oncology-certified nurses, radiation therapists, registered dieticians, case managers, pharmacists, physical and occupational therapists, Home Care nurses and chaplain and hospice.

Breast Care Services
Our Breast Health Coordinator assists each woman to ensure they receive guidance, referral to appropriate specialist, education and support in a timely manner. She works closely with radiologists who specialize in mammography, and other breast specialists offering the following services:
- Stereotactic breast biopsy
- Mammotome biopsy
- Breast MRI
- Sentinel lymph node dissection
- Lymphedema services
- Breast IMRT
Clinical Trials
Through our affiliation with Fox Chase Cancer Center, patients can participate in more than 100 investigational treatment and prevention protocols. These studies include Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG); National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP); and Fox Chase Cancer Center in house studies and pharmaceutical protocols.

Family Risk Assessment Program
This program’s goal is to help individuals and their families learn about the risk factors associated with breast and ovarian cancer. A genetic counselor and registered nurse provide information on:
- Risk factors for these cancers
- Benefits and limitations of currently available screening methods
- ways to reduce your risk
- family cancer patterns
- research programs for high risk individuals
- genetic testing options
A physician is provided to discuss medical management and screening recommendations based on your personal and family history. This program is offered in coordination with Fox Chase Cancer Center and conveniently located at Pottstown Memorial Regional Cancer Center.

We offer on site services for:

- PET Scan
- Interventional Radiology
- CT Scan
- Bone Density Scanning
- Mammography
- PET/CT
- Chemoembolization
Surgical Services
Board-certified surgeons routinely perform minimally invasive and reconstructive procedures.

Inpatient Services
Patients requiring hospitalization are cared for on a dedicated oncology unit where professionals are available to provide for the physical, spiritual and psychological needs of our patients and their family.
Integrative Care
PMRCC's patients who participate in complementary care offerings reported feeling less fatigue, anxiety, nausea and pain.

Transportation Services
Patients requiring assistance with transportation are often helped by PMMC's Courtesy Coach, and the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery Program.
