Coordinated Care for Children of all Ages
Pediatric hospitalists are doctors who specialize in taking care of children while in the hospital. They provide care for children who are hospitalized at PMMC from infancy to adolescents. Pediatric hospitalists know how to minimize any pain or discomfort your child may experience. Children coming through PMMC’s emergency room and newborns needing more specialized care will have the expertise and advice of the pediatric hospitalists available to them by consultation. The pediatric hospitalists work with your child’s referring physicians to provide coordinated care during and after hospitalization.
