Pottstown Memorial Medical Center offers a wide range of radiology services. In the event of an emergency, radiologists are available 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays.

Services include:

• Diagnostic X-rays
• Ultrasounds (including vascular and obstetrics)
• CT Scan - featuring advanced multislice CT imaging providing applications such as navigational and functional cat scan, and 3-D reconstruction imaging
• Fluoroscopy
• Nuclear medicine (cardiac and non-cardiac imaging)
• DEXA bone density scanning for osteoporosis detection
• Mammography (screening and stereotactic biopsies)
• PET/CT (oncology imaging combining positron emission tomography (PET) and computerized axial tomography (CAT) to localize malignant processes)

Interventional Radiology – providing both diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures which include:

• Uterine artery fibroid embolization
• Vertebralplasty to repair compressed spinal fractures
• Insertion of peripheral vascular access devices
• Implantation of vascular stents and filters

All of PMMC's mammography facilities are fully accredited by the American College of Radiology and the FDA.

Open MRI is available at Boyertown Rehabilitation & Diagnostic Services.
