U.S. News & World Report Names Linda D’Andrea, MD
from Pottstown Memorial Medical Center
to America’s Top Doctors list
POTTSTOWN— U.S. News & World Report has named Linda D’Andrea M.D., Orthopedic Surgeon, to its prestigious “America’s Top Doctors” list.
The annual list was published during the first week of August, and includes leading physicians – identified by fellow doctors – across the country. Criteria for physicians who are admitted to the “Top Doctors” list include clinical training, industry achievements, appointments, and other credentials.
Doctors are nominated by their peers for inclusion on the list, and individually vetted by a physician-led research team. Nominations are solicited from licensed physicians in academic medical centers, specialty and regional hospitals, and from those in private practice across the country.
Dr. D’Andrea is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine and completed a general surgery internship and residency at Medical College of Pennsylvania. She also served a fellowship in orthopedics at Boston University Medical Center and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedics. She specializes in adult and pediatric spinal disorders.
“This is a well-deserved recognition for Dr. D’Andrea and for Pottstown Memorial Medical Center,” says Sharif Omar, CEO. “Public acknowledgement of our physicians’ considerable expertise and various accomplishments in their respective fields recognizes the hard work and dedication of our physicians – and underscores PMMC’s commitment to providing quality care to the people who live and work in the communities we serve.”
The U.S. News “Top Doctors” list is a searchable directory of nearly 30,000 physicians representing a wide range of specialties. An outgrowth of the U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” ranking, the “Top Doctors” list seeks to provide trusted, comprehensive health information to prospective patients by identifying leading doctors in their respective communities who are highly recommended by other physicians.
