Pottstown Memorial Medical Center and Phoenixville Hospital have generously donated an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) unit to West-Mont United Soccer Association of Limerick Township.

According to their spokesperson, West-Mont USA is very grateful for this unit especially after the fatality of a young man in a nearby soccer facility who suffered a heart attack on the field.

"We are proud to provide this potential life saving device to WestMont Soccer," said Steve MacLauchlan, CEO of PMMC.
