POTTSTOWN MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER WELCOMES
NEW SENIOR CIRCLE ADVISOR
Pottstown Memorial Medical Center (PMMC) recently welcomed its new Senior Circle Advisor, Gail Warner. Gail brings with her a wealth of knowledge about health and wellness, along with a passion for helping older adults stay actively engaged and maintain overall good health. She believes in healthy aging for all and is excited about the future of the Senior Circle program.
“Senior Circle members are determined to age actively and purposefully, and by maintaining our focus on being physically active, mentally sharp and socially connected, Senior Circle will continue to break the mold and stretch the boundaries of active aging,” says Warner. “Truly the sky is the limit for this generation who wants to feel good, look good and stay actively engaged for long and healthy lives.”
Gail hopes to encourage members to form new groups that expand and develop skills and pursue lifelong dreams, be it through active adventure excursions or interest clubs, and also to take advantage of the many groups already offered. She plans on continuing fun, engaging day and overnight trips to a wide variety of locations from local venues to other places of interest such as New England and Austria.
Gail comes to PMMC from Club 50 Fitness in Macungie, PA, where she was owner, manager and fitness instructor. At Club 50 Fitness, she worked with seniors to help them achieve new levels of fitness, energy and weight loss. She is certified in Older Adult Fitness and is a member of the International Council on Active Aging. She has spoken on the components and importance of Active Aging to Enjoy Life to insurance, AARP and church groups
Senior Circle membership is open to anyone over age 50 who is interested in enriching their life physically, mentally and socially and costs $15 a year. Members benefit from a generous selection of valuable discounts, activities and events, exercise and wellness classes, a chapter newsletter and in-hospital privileges.
