PMMC Installs New Information Management System to Improve Perinatal Care

POTTSTOWN, PA – Pottstown Memorial Medical Center (PMMC) announces the installation of a dynamic information management system for the Maternity and Women’s Health Center. The new system will help streamline information for staff and chart patient data to support the center’s emphasis on comprehensive approaches to healthcare before, during labor, delivery and recovery.
OB TraceVue, a perinatal information management system, combines fetal surveillance and analysis with broad patient documentation and data storage in a single system that can be accessed from anywhere including the physician’s home or office. It can track monitor mother and fetus to anticipate critical events prior to and during delivery.

- Centralized, electronic patient record for mother, fetus and newborn;
- Continuous trace displays of fetus and mother—up to triplets;
- Integration with the Hospital ADT System—alerts when other clinical applications are in use;

- Interactive remote access for staff away from the unit.
