ANNOUNCES NEW ASSISTANT CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

POTTSTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA.  (September 8, 2009) – John J. Kirby, Chief Executive Officer, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center recently announced the appointment of R. Scott Weiskittel as Assistant Chief Executive Officer.

“We are fortunate to have Scott join our administrative team,” says Kirby.  “His proven track record in business expansion and program development along with his experience in strategic market planning and execution will be a tremendous asset as we continue to look for ways to expand our services.”

Weiskittel has eight years of healthcare experience and most recently worked for Stonecrest Medical Center, Smyrna, Tennessee.  He earned a Masters Degree from Widener University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Virginia.  Weiskittel is an associate of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is pursuing Fellow status.

Weiskittel has been married for 14 years to his wife, Holli and has 3 children, Skylar (age 7), Charlie (age 5), and Annabella (age 5).
