Family Risk Assessment Program

This program's goal is to help individuals and their families learn about the risk factors associated with breast, ovarian and colon cancer. A genetic counselor and registered nurse provide information on:

• Risk factors for these cancers
• Benefits and limitations of currently available screening methods
• ways to reduce your risk
• family cancer patterns
• research programs for high risk individuals
• genetic testing options

A physician is provided to discuss medical management and screening recommendations based on your personal and family history. This program is offered in coordination with Fox Chase Cancer Center and conveniently located at Pottstown Memorial Regional Cancer Center.
