Registration & Admissions

When seeking any services at PMMC, it is very important that you bring your insurance identification cards, a signed order from your physician and/or any necessary referrals from your physician office. 

On the day of your test, please try to arrive ½ hour prior to your appointment for registration.  The registration department is located in the lobby of the main building.  Central Registration hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Direct admissions to the hospital are handled in the Admission department, also located in the lobby of the main building.  Admission hours are 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.  Admissions after 11:00 p.m. and weekends are handled in the Emergency Room.

Outpatient Surgery Scheduling

Once you have decided to have surgery, your surgeon's office will notify the hospital's scheduling department.  An appointment for pre-admission testing and a surgery date will be given to you by the doctor's office.  Orders for pre-admission testing (i.e. blood work, chest x-ray, EKG) and a preadmission testing booklet will be given to you by your surgeon to bring with you on the day of your appointment.

In an effort to process patients in a timely manner, either you or your doctor's office will be contacted for pre-registration information.  Information collected will include your name, date of birth, address, insurance information, etc.  We will notify you of any financial responsibility not covered by your insurance.

As a courtesy, a member of our pre-admission testing staff will call you the day before your scheduled appointment to remind your of your appointment time, and where to report.  It is important that your arrive on time for your visit.

Please bring your driver's license, insurance cards and/or insurance forms with you for the registration clerk.  If you are unable to keep your pre-admission testing appointment, please call (610) 327-7502 to reschedule.

Outpatient Surgery Registration

On the day of your pre-admission testing appoinment, please report to the Outpatient Care Pavilion, located adjacent to the hospital.  Free parking is available directly in front of the building. Please inform the volunteer at the pavilion information desk of your name and appointment time.  A registration clerk will meet with you to confirm pre-registration information and to obtain necessary consents for treatment.
