Pottstown Memorial Medical Center is committed to providing healthcare services to our patients regardless of their ability to pay.
We accept all major health insurance plans and managed care programs, including: Aetna/US Healthcare, Keystone Health Plan East, Blue Cross, Medicare and Medicaid.
It is very important that you have your insurance identification cards with you when seeking services at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. This enables us to provide proper billing, verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-approval for HMO patients before receiving services.
You will be asked to pay any copay or deductible not covered by your insurance at the time of service.
If you do not have insurance coverage, you are financially responsible for payment of any balance due. For your convenience, the hospital accepts cash, check, money order, debit card, electronic funds transfer, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

Financial Counseling Services for Self Pay/Uninsured Patients
If you cannot afford the cost of care, the hospital will make every effort to assist you in identifying and applying for any federal, state or local programs that may be available to you. The hospital will also assist you in determining if you are eligible for Cobra benefits under any previous plan. In the event you are not eligible for these programs, you may be eligible for the hospital's Financial Assistance program or free services.
